Mastering Passing Can Be Important To Winning A FIFA 11 PS3 Tournament
Winning a FIFA 11 PS3 Tournament will be a tough ask but it is an achievable feat. No matter what level of player you are currently, to stand any chance of success you need to ensure you can perform the basics well. The basics being passing, shooting and tackling. Sounds simple doesn't it and in all honesty it is. Most professional football managers will tell you that the beautiful game is easy and that to succeed you need to do the basics well.
One of part of the game that is integral to everything is passing and in FIFA this is no different. There are several types of pass that you will need to master in order to beat the better players in online tournaments. The most basic of all the moves is the short pass which can be accomplished by the depressing of the X button and holding the Left analogue stick in the direction you wish the ball to be played. The game also takes into consideration the length you hold down the X button too so depending on the distance away a team mate is should determine how long you hold the X button for.
The next pass to master is the long pass and can be used to attack your opponent quickly, however this is not as effective as the lobbed through pass which we will discuss later. For now master the long pass to increase your range of passing skills. To play a long pass again we hold the LS button in the direction we wish the ball to be played however this time we hold the O button. The long pass is most effective when used to play cross field balls so I would suggest practicing switching the ball in a training match as it can be difficult to master.
One way to open up your opposition is to play a through ball, this can be done by pressing and holding the triangle button. Again the longer the button is held the harder the ball will be played. Timing of the pass is crucial to playing a successful through ball, make sure you practice in the arena to ensure you always spot your strikers making offensive runs.
Once through balls have been mastered you should look to start to play one-twos, this type of pass creates more off the ball runs from your players and as such makes them difficult to mark and potentially get into more goalscoring positions. To play a one-two hold the L1 button whilst playing a normal pass, the passer will then make a forward run. When the passer has found space play the ball back to him by performing a simple pass again, or if in an advanced position you could play the a through ball instead.
A further improvement to this is to play a one-two but instead of a through ball you can play a lobbed through ball, bypassing any opponents who are in the line of your 2nd passer and your player making a run. To do this hold the R1 button whilst performing a through ball. This piece of play is by far the hardest passing skills to develop however once you do you will find yourself breaking open even the best FIFA 11 PS3 tournament player.
In FIFA you should make sure that you are able to play every pass without out even contemplating it, as you would expect you will need to practice a little and the best place for this is in the training arena. Once you are confident of having mastered all types of passing take your skills to online tournaments. Having a good range of passing ensures that you become as unpredictable as possible giving you the best chance to succeed
Winning a FIFA 11 PS3 tournament wont be easy but ensuring you keep the ball will be half the battle. Don't be afraid to keep the ball if there is no good pass forward on and don't be afraid to use the keeper make the opposition work to get the ball back and when they get out of position exploit them.

A Quick NBA Live 10 Game Review For The PlayStation And Xbox
This is a quick NBA Live game review for PlayStation and Xbox. NBA Live is one of Electronic Art's most well known console games. Every year, several sports games are released however NBA Live's annual edition always ends up being among the most popular. The latest version is no different, with its high tech graphics, new jerseys, and resolution, this final edition of NBA Live has garnered very positive reviews.
Additional jerseys are featured in the 2010 NBA Live, the franchise's first. 1990 and 1980 throwback jerseys were added as well as several teams' alternate jerseys. Even more shoes and uniforms can be unlocked when using special codes. Though it is unsure if every NBA team will receive new jerseys, only two codes have so far been announced but more are likely. The game's graphics also received a massive overhaul. It features smoother and quicker animations that allow for a more maximum play. Items like the courts and lights were designed to look more realistic. When enhanced on a plasma screen, the game is grainier but overall looks extremely well. Other smaller graphics like the background and the players are more detailed as well. Unlike previous installments, this year's NBA Live game has a much more realistic background. The members of the crowd were designed to look more real and lifelike. Even the players themselves were give more exact and personal details such as tattoos, hairstyles, and other accessories. The basketball stars in this edition were made to be more easily recognized than previous ones.
The game's controls were altered slightly so that it isn't necessary to control the players one hundred percent of the time. Using this auto mode can result in more turnovers though. For those who want to, it is quite possible to expand the control over the players.
The game play is simple enough so that even people who have never played a basketball game can quickly get the hang of it. Actions like shooting and passing are both single button functions. And both the Xbox and PlayStation controllers use the right joy stick to move the basketball players. Playing defense is simple as well, simply position your player near one from the other team and he will do the rest automatically.
The player's DNA update of the past games' system has improved significantly as well. This year's edition updated the DNA of individual player's attributes and tendencies instantly. This game also will allow its users to play games as they happen almost as fast in real life. With the teams' line ups and game rosters instantly updating in this game, the Dynasty Mode is much more advanced and realistic.
The soundtrack was updated and revamped for this version to include more current bands and artists. There are more songs this year and that cuts down drastically on the music's redundancy during the game and training mode. They were programmed to change and react to the beat of the games.
